Baker Design Workshop Updates and showcasing the Skunkworks

After a long time and a false start last year it is time to restart this blog down an avenue that I have been wanting to pursue for years....I have been sketching cars and bikes for years now and I have finally decided to make it official. From special commisions to T-shirts and caps promoting the brand this will be my little side project. The Baker Design Workshop Skunkworks:

Where all the action is happening. Along with the T shirts and sketches there are always projects happening at Baker Design Workshop. Right down to the fastest office chair in the business. I would love to make more of these. I found a pair of seats lying in the storage of a workshop close to my home.They happen to come out of a Mk4 Supra.They cost next to nothing as the previous owner did not want them anymore. I took them and bought two new office chairs for their bases.After a bit of wleding and cutting (and removing of unneccesary parts I have ended up with two pretty decent office chairs. One is in my study and to the amusement of my co-workers one is in my office. They are suprisingly comfortable.I think this is a good way to re-use and recycle seats.I think that car enthusiasts would love having one of these.I hope to make more of them in the future....
